Graduated from the Waseda University, the faculty of law
Graduated from Inter Medium Institute
Katsumata had started to make his works from the period of his student days of the University. He is known as conceptual artist of Photography media.
His works have been collected by domestic and foreign collectors , institutions and museums such as The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo.
